Telemedicine and Electronic Visits

What is it?

One of our skilled physicians will talk to you and review your history/concern over a secure electronic platform or alternatively by phone.

Please use our contact form to get in touch.

What do I need to do?

You will need to have access to a computer or mobile phone with internet and an email address. You will join your appointment using your web browser.

Phone conversations with one of physicians are an alternative

You will be emailed or provided instructions by phone.

How long will it take?

You can expect some wait time involved in setup/triage. The visit will last anywhere from 10 to  45 minutes.

What do I need to know?

We do our best to make sure that any information you give to us during virtual care visits is private and secure. No video or audio tools are ever completely secure. There is an increased security risk that your health information may be intercepted or disclosed to third parties when using video or audio communications tools.

To help us keep your information safe and secure, you can:

– Understand that emails, calls, or texts you receive are not secure in the same way as a private appointment in an exam room.
– Use a private computer/device (i.e., not an employer’s or third party’s computer/device), secure accounts, and a secure internet connection. For example, using a personal and encrypted email account is more secure than an unencrypted email account, and your access to the Internet on your home network will generally be more secure than an open guest Wi-Fi connection.

–You should also understand that electronic communication is not a substitute for in-person communication or clinical examination, where appropriate.

–While some health concerns can be addressed with virtual care alone, some situations may still require you to come to the facility for a physical examination or cardiac tests. Emergency situations require that you call 911 or proceed directly to your nearest hospital emergency room.

–Patients can either call in or physicians can refer to speak to one of our doctors.
