Dr. Syed Samir Najib
Dr Najib is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology.

He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Gulf Medical University in Ajman, Dubai. He relocated to Cleveland, Ohio to complete his residency in Internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic’s Fairview Hospital, before moving to Kingston, Ontario to complete his residency in Cardiology at Queen’s University.

Dr. Paul Angaran
Electrophysiology
Dr. Angaran is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology with further specialization in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
He completed medical school, Internal Medicine and Cardiology residency at the University of Toronto and then went on to complete a Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at the University of Western Ontario.
His clinical interests include arrhythmia management, with a focus on catheter ablation, inherited arrhythmias and device management. His research interests include clinical outcomes of patients with atrial fibrillation and implantable cardioverter defibrillators. He is currently accepting referrals in electrophysiology and arrhythmias.

Dr. Pranavan Sinmayanandan
Dr. Sinmayanandan is certified in Internal Medicine in Ontario and with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
He obtained his M.D. Degree from the AUC School of Medicine (Netherland Antilles). He completed his undergraduate studies at McMaster University and Internal Medicine residency training at Drexel University College of Medicine.

Dr. Michael Gollob
Electrophysiology
Dr. Gollob obtained an undergraduate degree in molecular genetics at the University of Toronto, graduating as a Gold Medalist in 1990. He then entered the field of medicine and is now an arrhythmia
specialist and Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. He also has an appointment in the Department of Physiology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Gollob’s clinical practice
is focused various forms of arrhythmias with a particular expertise in genetic-based arrhythmia andcardiomyopathy syndromes, including atrial fibrillation, Long QT syndrome, Brugada Syndrome, CPVT,
Short QT syndrome, unexplained sudden death, arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Dr. Gollob’s research group studies the genetic and physiological basis of sudden death syndromes, the common arrhythmia of atrial fibrillation, and cytoskeletal or metabolic based cardiomyopathy
conditions. His research laboratory has identified genes causative for sudden death and atrial fibrillation, and he has published his research in high impact journals including the New England Journal of
Medicine, Circulation and Nature. He has Chaired on behalf of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society the first guideline document outlining the appropriate use of genetic testing for cardiac diseases associated
with a risk of sudden death.
Dr. Gollob holds peer-reviewed research funding from the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR).

Dr. Losenno is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Pediatrics.

Dr. Sami Alnasser
Interventional cardiology
Dr. Alnasser completed his Internal Medicine at McMaster University followed by Cardiology and Interventional training at the University of Toronto. Dr.Alnasser led the Structural program in Northern Ontario before joining St Michael’s Hospital in 2020. His research areas of interest include valvular and congenital heart interventions. Recently published the largest analysis assessing long term outcomes following transcatheter atrial septal defect closure in collaboration with ICES.

Dr. Shuen is US and Canadian board certified medical geneticist (MD from University of Ottawa and Medical Genetics residency at McGill) with 10 years of clinical practice in Ontario.
He completed a PhD at Sickkids UofT in cancer molecular genetics and is undertaking a post-doc in stem cells and longevity in Kyoto.

Dr. Prateek Khatri
Dr. Prateek Khatri is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC), certified in Internal Medicine. His practice has a cardiology focus. He is a staff physician at North York General Hospital and a Lecturer at the University of Toronto.
